Wow, where to start!? As many of you know we have been in a season of uncertainty for the last 6 months and we’ve remained fairly quiet on the blog. It’s not because we didn’t want to update it but because Niki and I just haven’t known what to post! When your life direction seems to be changing nearly weekly, sometimes it seems better to give an update when everything is settled rather than string everyone along… That being said, this isn’t the “final” update but it’s at least a start!
In March we made the very difficult decision that we would not be going to Kenya. The entire experience has been a very stretching time of growth in our lives that God has used to shape us in new ways and further direct our paths. We are so grateful for everyone’s support and have been blessed by the continued prayers and encouragement that we have received from many.
With the Kenya chapter closed we are left with the question “what next?” We are definitely in a very unique position with a blank slate, no commitments and seemingly countless possibilities. Given our freedom we have been afforded the opportunity to do some things that we would have never imagined otherwise…
In March after we sent out our final newsletters we took an impromptu trip to visit my parents at their new home in Florida. We had planned to spend three weeks there with them along with my sister and her kids but it didn’t take long for us to realize that the trend of uncertainty only followed us down there… What started as 3 weeks turned into 4, then 5, coming to a final rest at 8 weeks!
I’ll wrap things up with that little teaser and we’ll post more on the trip soon.
If you don't know what to do..you better be having fun while figuring it out.
Love Uncle Levi
