This past April we got to go “home” to Alaska for 7 weeks! Ty had the privilege of
working turnaround at Tesoro doing his exact same job that he left over a
year ago. Though the days were long he thoroughly enjoyed being back in
that familiar work place with the same crew he’d worked with for
several years!

The girls and I had the blessing of spending our days hanging out with family and friends… it was an incredibly rewarding time.

The late nights with friends, extended hours of conversation over coffee, and shared tears of joy and sorrow cannot be captured in photographs, so some memories are better captured in our hearts anyways.

Visiting with a precious woman who will most likely be with Jesus by the time we get back from Kenya reminds me that life is but a vapor ~ we are here today and gone tomorrow.
