St. Joe is such a fun little festive town ~
I’m pretty sure the population quadrupled on this particular holiday!
Walking down to Silver Beach for an evening of fun in 100-degree temps!
… and yes we felt over dressed but we were determined to sport our patriot garb!
… and yes we felt over dressed but we were determined to sport our patriot garb!
A glorious sunset around 9:30pm
The beach was jam-packed so we went hiking in order to find a less crowded spot to watch the fireworks…
“Has anyone seen my children? Anyone?… I see some flowers but…”
As America so proudly celebrates its independence as a nation there is another type of celebration taking place in our home.
One of In-Dependence.
We are daily being reminded of our need to depend upon God’s grace to live according to His plans and purposes for our lives.
We do not want to boast about our independence, rather celebrate our in-dependence upon Christ Jesus.
Lord, may we live in dependence upon Your love to enable us to love others, laying down our lives to consider others above ourselves.
Lord, may we live in dependence upon your wisdom and grace to enable us to nurture and live out the gospel of Christ to our children.
Lord, may we live in dependence upon you to satisfy our every longing and craving so that we radiate a joy unspeakable and full of glory!
