Happy Easter!
It’s been a joyous week for the Schemanski family, even though Ty is in Alaska and us girls are in Michigan. The joy of the resurrection fills our hearts with gladness and praise no matter where we are, but we do look forward to being together in a couple weeks!
In the mean time us girls have been busy with special worship services at church each night this week, some fun mommy-daughter dates, and some fun Easter activities!

Special pictures to send to Daddy in his Easter package!
Caught this precious moment between the girls this morning after their bath where Nya was reading Elli’s Bible to her and explaining that “on Good Friday Jesus died on the cross for our sins, then today (Saturday) his body was put into a cave, then tomorrow on Easter He rose from the dead!”
Time to paint Easter eggs!
(A friend recommended these sponge-painting kits instead of traditional liquid dye, they’re great for preschoolers!)

Little Easter baskets ready and waiting 🙂
Hmmm… can you guess which basket belongs to which girl? 🙂
We look forward to worshiping the risen Savior, Jesus Christ, and I pray that you will find your way into a place of worship as well!
Freely You gave it all for us
Surrendered Your life upon that cross
Great is the love poured out for all
This is our God
Lifted on high from death to life
Forever our God is glorified
Servant and King rescued the world
This is our God!
