Happy Harvest!

Happy Harvest from us to you!

This fall has been delightful in so many ways… gorgeous nature walks, fun homeschool field trips, and visitors from Alaska (to name a few of our favorites)!

Grami Tami, Auntie Tera, and cousins Sadie, Ruby, & Silas came to visit for three weeks! We managed to catch a beach day, some apple picking, celebrated birthdays together, garage-saled like maniacs, and just delighted in doing life together!

Nya, Sadie, & Elliana are all being homeschooled, so we took a little field trip to the Kalamazoo Air Museum

A few unexpected warm days in the upper 70’s have resulted in absolutely beautiful nature walks and mountain biking!

…oops, except when it starts to pour down rain… then the beautiful nature walk turns into a beautiful nature RUN!
(followed by warm coffee and delicious donuts with friends!)

Family Field Trip to the Sarett Nature Center

Daddy has discovered a lovely place full of mountain biking trails and he took us there to discover its beauty for ourselves…

And what would fall be without some leaf jumping?

Oh, did I say “leaf jumping”?… I meant leaf SWIMMING :)…

For Halloween we decided to hunker down at home this year and enjoy some cupcake decorating, a movie, and some pizza!

The REAL harvest came after we delivered our cupcakes around to some of our neighbors and in return we got this basket of deliciously organic vegetables…
Aren’t they beautiful?!!!
The harvest is plentiful!

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
